Help Protect Sudan’s Heritage

Sudan is in crisis and help is needed to safeguard cultural heritage throughout Sudan.  AmSARC is accepting donations to aid this cause.  Funds raised will contribute directly to assist scholars, sites, and projects with these concerns.

Our recent Small Grants program has been successful in funding four Sudanese scholars for research and translation projects (https://amsarc.org/researchers/). With ongoing challenges, we ask for your help to continue support of Sudanese archaeologists for additional projects.  We are especially interested in helping to facilitate projects that engage local communities and displaced peoples near archaeological sites and museums.

Your donation will have a significant impact for Sudanese scholars and will be used to assist them with maintaining important research and scholarly activities.

For a limited time, you’ll be able to double your impact –  a generous AmSARC donor has pledged to match donations that are received by February 15, 2024, up to $1000!

Thank you for any support you are able to give.  Because of our generous donors, we are able to assist Sudanese archaeologists during these difficult times.
